Gang Saw Machine
Taurus-80 Gang Saw Machine
Taurus® offers first-class production because it's manufactured and equipped with the finest quality materials. Thanks to a silentblock system, which requires less energy and offers high performance compared to frictional systems, vibration is minimized. Marble, travertine blocks, and rubbles are turned into raw plate blocks by Taurus® with the least damage, even in cold areas.
Production Under Harsh Conditions
High-performance production, even in harsh winter conditions, is the feature that distinguishes Taurus® from other machines. In gang-saw machines with a hydrostatic system, hydraulic oil in pipes might freeze during winter periods, resulting in burst pipes. This hinders hydrostatic gang-saw machines from working efficiently. The silentblock system used in Taurus® is the right system in the world.
Monobloc Steel Casting Systems
Silentblocks and connection rods in Taurus® are designed and produced as monobloc (molded at once) and steel castings. Such systems are vital for Taurus®. Mechanisms made from a mixture of nodular cast iron and platinum sheet metal are strongly discommended because of poor cutting performance.
Flywheel bearings exposed to the main engine’s wear are manufactured to the quality standards of monobloc and steel casting.
All the steels present in Taurus® are manufactured to ST 52 standards, aiming for minimum vibration throughout the machine.
IP impermeability technology standards and occupational health and safety rules apply to the machine.
Rubble Cutting Module
With its rubble cutting module, Taurus® has justified pride in offering a unique service to its users.
Along with being the only machine with a rubble cutting module, Taurus's® superior features include:
The main motor is equipped with a soft starter. The initial startup from slow to fast is controlled, and an emergency stop braking system can be engaged. (In case of emergency, the engine does not stop by reversing the current, which would shorten its lifespan.)
The elevator's up and down movement is electronically controlled. Taurus® is designed to control the cutting fluid (water) from the PLC and has an automatic valve system.
Taurus® also features an automatic liquid lubrication system. Sliders that assist in lifting up or down are lubricated by this system.
The block carrier wagon and elevator are interlocked against linear and horizontal/lateral forces.
Stone breakage sensors, which will stop the flywheel movement during a breakage, are standard at the front and back of Taurus®.
