Pegasus® Caliber Machine

The Pegasus® calibration machine carries out the process of smoothing and reducing the width of 460 mm, 650 mm, or 800 mm semi-finished tiles, marble, travertine, etc., to your desired thickness. All systems have been proven by long-term practices and experiences.

No Regrets

The Pegasus® main table maintains its precision just like on the first day, thanks to its 4 mm-thick AISI 304 quality stainless steel sheet placed on the moving rack surface of the band.

One of the main reasons you won't experience problems with products like marble and travertine, or a day-by-day disruption of caliber quality, is because it has standardized its characteristics over decades.

In other caliber machines, due to the lack of this practice on the surface where the band moves, water and mud leaking under the band, combined with the burden of calibrated marbles and the pressure of the caliber heads, will corrode the underside of the band. From the first day, you will experience deviations in your caliber quality. On such an occasion, interventions will be highly costly.

In the manufacturing of Pegasus®, the chromium-nickel plated sheets used on the underside of the band have significantly longer abrasion resistance than iron material and are water-resistant. Even if corrosion occurs after long periods of use, the dismantleable and restorable stainless AISI 304 quality plates are practical to work with.

Thanks to this practice, the life of your conveyor belt will be extended, and your expenditure on bands will visibly decrease in the coming years.

Various Process Techniques

The Pegasus® 800 caliber machine offers its users the possibility of processing a maximum of 800 mm single row or a maximum of 400 mm double row simultaneously.

Serving Turkey’s largest natural stone and tile production facilities, Toksel's processing line, including Pegasus®, ensures a production speed of 6 m/min to the industry. The main motivation behind this is the systematic perfection and intensive technology of its caliber and polishing machines. Pegasus®, like other Toksel brand machines, contains many features such as self-liquid oiling, electrical and electronic products with IP impermeability standards, intensive use of stainless material, a touch-operated control panel, and first-class material quality.
